Are Betway the biggest 2 bob online betting firm ever....

Generally try to avoid these clowns as so many people have bets restricted by them, but got tempted today by the #BetYourWay (original that) offer of bet £5 on west ham everton and get a free £5 bet... then get restricted to maximum stake of 3.77...ha ha what a bunch of clowns...lesson learnt, dont suppose they will be the first of our shirt sponsors to go bust.

If Betway wanted to pay us the most money I really couldn't care less.

What makes anyone think we are going to get a sponsor of the same calibre as the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Spurs?

Had a horse bet (El Astronaute) about a month ago that I tried to get a bet online with Ladbrokes... this was 10 mins before the off... only a fiver but no matter what the site kept crashing with the spinning wheel of death just going round... did not have time to get on another bookies and watched the race through my fingers as he romped home at 8/1.... checked my acc' and it still had the spinning wheel of death... checked the next day and balance was as it was... few days later got a mail from Ladbrokes saying they realised there had been problems and noticed that I was attempting to get the bet on and they would honour it.... so bosh £45 in my a/c... fair play that

My argument here is nearly everyone I know has had their accounts restricted or got the banned from all promotions email, so getting a bet on of more than a fiver is near enough impossible. Sooner they go bust the better. Dont give a fuck if it effects the chairmans pockets.

I find betvictor the best one stop shop for football accas. I put my bet into oddschecker every saturday and they are nearly always best odds for the acca (except that marathon bet lot who I wouldnt touch with a barge pole) They also give you your money back if only 1 lets you down in accas of 5 or more selections so 95% of my football bets go through them.

Unless there's a vast difference in odds, we should all be using BetWay really to support the sponsorship.

It's obvious that they need to have the ID sorted before paying out. Yes, they do take your money no problem but that's not a money-laundering method until you go to draw it back out.

Really hate them. Placed a large bet on a Rugby World Cup match which came in. I saw the confirmation screen, the money left my account - but they refused it and said it was never placed. Cunts.

As others have experienced, it's also a nightmare to actually get them to pay out. I don't know if the aim is to get you to give up or what, because it goes way beyond proof of identity.

Last season I made a few grand by going from bookie to bookie signing up for their promo and then putting it all on Accrington, Plymouth plus 1 or 2 others. Ended up being about £3000 up overall.

Found the Betway app ok to use, got completely shafted by the small print on one of the others - think it was Unibet, one of those matched bets where you then had to gamble 5 times the value of the initial stake to access it. Think I ended up first one lost, second won thankfully.

Overall I have liked Bet365 the best for user experience, BetVictor the worst (I only bet on UK based accas), the rest are much of a muchness. Never had a problem accessing winnings apart from the Unibet one, though that was my fault for getting overexcited at a £50 free bet.

That's pretty standard behaviour with the lesser-UK-established online bookies unfortunately. I've used Betway once, a couple of years ago. Won two grand on their online casino (on just my thirty-sixth hand of video poker, so I'm pretty certain their software doesn't cheat). Took almost three weeks to receive my cashout after a stack of ID emails and phone chasing.

They also ring you to try and sell you a bet ??

I set up an account years ago and won £50 went to cash out and it said I needed to ring head office - they told me on phone I had to send them a scan of my passport or drivers licence as part of their anti fraud measures !!

So if the bet lost they'd take the money no problem fraud or not but if it wins suddenly they need to protect us against fraud ! Even though I could still place bets with the winnings??!!

Company is a joke !!
